What sets MYOrigene apart from other DNA test kit companies?
At MYOriGene, we offer a more personalized and localized approach to DNA testing. Our DNA test kits are tailored to different categories of adults and kids based on their industry, including athletes, business professionals, and students. For example, our athlete package includes a localized and personalized report on physical health and performance improvement strategies based on the athlete’s geographical location in Malaysia. The package also comes with a 1-to-1 consultation with a specialist to help you develop a personalized performance plan.
How does MYOriGene use DNA test kits and Whole Genome Sequencing to create personalized reports?
Our DNA test kits use a painless saliva sample to extract your DNA. We then analyze your DNA using Whole Genome Sequencing, which maps out your entire genetic code. We use this information to provide a personalized and localized report that includes information on ancestry, potential health risks, and other genetic traits that are relevant to your specific category.

At MyOriGene, we take pride in providing comprehensive and accurate DNA testing services that help you better understand your genetic makeup. Contact us today to learn more about our personalized and localized DNA test kits and discover how they can help you achieve your goals.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

What is a DNA test kit?
A DNA test kit is a device for collecting a DNA sample (typically saliva) and sending it in for analysis to learn more about one’s ancestry and possible health risks.
How does a DNA test kit work?
You first use the provided kit to collect a saliva sample, which is then sent to a lab for analysis. After the results are in, a report detailing your genetic makeup is sent back to you.
What kind of information can I get from a DNA test kit?
The information you can get from a DNA test kit varies according to the package you select, but it can include your genetic traits (such as eye colour or hair texture), mental wellbeing, as well as potential health tendencies and risks.
Are DNA test kits accurate?
The accuracy of DNA test kits can vary depending on the type of kit and the company providing it. In contrast, most reputable DNA test kit providers like MyOriGene provide comprehensive and accurate results by making use of well-established genome technology.
Is there a difference between different DNA test kit companies?

There can be notable differences between DNA test kit providers with respect to the data they provide, their level of accuracy, and their commitment to protecting your privacy. Make sure to do your homework and select a firm with a proven record of delivering trustworthy outcomes before entrusting them with your data.

How can I use the information from a DNA test kit?

The information you get from a DNA test kit can be used in many ways, such as helping you make lifestyle changes to improve your health or even bringing to light physical and mental tendencies and risks you may not have known about.

Are DNA test kits safe?

Collecting a saliva sample and sending it to a lab for analysis is the standard procedure for most DNA test kits, making them a safe option. To guarantee the safety of your genetic information, however, you should work with a dependable organisation that has a stringent policy on customer confidentiality. MyOriGene eliminates this concern with end-to-end encryption, so only you can access your genetic information.
